Objectives
The FIW - Research Centre International Economics (https://www.fiw.ac.at/) is a cooperation between the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), the University Vienna, the Johannes Kepler University Linz, the University of Innsbruck, WIFO, wiiw and WSR. FIW is supported by the Austrian Federal Ministries of Education, Research and Science (BMBFW) and of Labour and Economy (BMAW).

WSR

The Computing Centre for Economics and Social Sciences (WSR) was founded in 1971 as a non-profit organization and is now the leading host for national and international economic data in Austria.
WSR also acts as the computing centre of the Austrian Institute for Economic Research (WIFO), hosting the WIFO-Economic Database which contains comprehensive statistical data on the Austrian economy as well as a variety of international databases.
In addition to providing economic data to the research community, WSR provides other IT-services to academic and research organizations, e.g. internet access, webdesign and webhosting. To carry out web-based surveys, WSR has developed a convenient tool which allows for easy creation of a web questionnaire and analysis of the survey data.
