Statistics Austria: January 2013: increase in imports (0.3%) and exports (7.1%)

According to preliminary results by Statistics Austria, total imports amounted to €10.31 bn and total exports amounted to €9.96 bn in January 2013. Austrian imports increased by 0.3% and Austrian exports rose by 7.1% compared to January 2012. The global foreign trade balance showed a deficit of €0.34 bn.
