Statistics Austria: January to October 2014: decrease in imports (-0.8%), increase in exports (+0.6%)
According to preliminary results by Statistics Austria, total imports amounted to €108.59 bn and total exports amounted to €106.38 bn in the period January to October 2014. Austrian imports decreased by 0.8% while Austrian exports rose by 0.6% compared to the same period in 2013. The global foreign trade balance showed a deficit of €2.21 bn.
Statistics Austria: Regional foreign trade first half-year 2014: Vienna and Vorarlberg with highest increases in exports
In the period January to June 2014, the federal states Upper Austria, Vienna and Lower Austria showed – in the order indicated – the highest external trade values in terms of trade-intensity (sum of imports and exports), according to preliminary results by Statistics Austria.

According to preliminary results by Statistics Austria, total imports amounted to €96.83 bn and total exports amounted to €94.55 bn in the period January to September 2014. Austrian imports decreased by 0.4% while Austrian exports rose by 1.1% compared to the same period in 2013. The global foreign trade balance showed a deficit of €2.28 bn.

According to preliminary results by Statistics Austria, total imports amounted to €85.44 bn and total exports amounted to €83.42 bn in the period January to August 2014. Austrian imports decreased by 0.5% while Austrian exports rose by 1.0% compared to the same period in 2013. The global foreign trade balance showed a deficit of €2.02 bn.
