Statistics Austria:January to August 2015: increase in imports (1.2%) and exports (2.4%)

According to preliminary results by Statistics Austria, total imports amounted to €86.84 bn and total exports to €85.73 bn in the period January to August 2015. Austrian imports increased by 1.2% while Austrian exports rose by 2.4% compared to the same period in 2014. The global foreign trade balance showed a deficit of €1.11 bn.
