Statistics Austria: January to December 2013: decrease in imports (-1.5%), increase in exports (+1.5%)
According to preliminary results by Statistics Austria, total imports amounted to €129.96 bn and total exports amounted to €125.41 bn in the period January to December 2013. Austrian imports decreased by 1.5% while Austrian exports rose by 1.5% compared to the same period in 2012. The global foreign trade balance showed a deficit of €4.55 bn.
Statistik Austria: Außenhandel im Dezember 2013: Einfuhren +2,6%, Ausfuhren +5,6%
Wie Statistik Austria anhand vorläufiger Ergebnisse errechnete, lag der Gesamtwert der Einfuhren von Waren im Berichtsmonat Dezember 2013 mit 9,69 Mrd. Euro um 2,6% über dem Vorjahreswert, die Ausfuhren von Waren verzeichneten einen Anstieg von 5,6% auf 9,24 Mrd. Euro. Das Defizit der Handelsbilanz belief sich auf 0,44 Mrd. Euro.

Statistics Austria: January to November 2013: decrease in imports (-2.0%), increase in exports (+1.0%)
According to preliminary results by Statistics Austria, total imports amounted to €120.11 bn and total exports amounted to €115.97 bn in the period January to November 2013. Compared to the same period in 2012, Austrian imports decreased by 2.0% while Austrian exports rose by 1.0%. The global foreign trade balance showed a deficit of €4.14 bn.
