Statistics Austria publishes newest Austrian trade data

According to preliminary results by Statistics Austria, total imports amounted to €121.97 bn and total exports amounted to €114.56 bn in the period January to November 2012. Austrian imports increased by 1.1% and Austrian exports rose by 2.0% compared to the same period in 2011. The global foreign trade balance showed a deficit of €7.41 bn.

Statistics Austria: Regional external trade statistics data first half of 2012 (preliminary results): five federal provinces with positive trade balance

According to preliminary results by Statistics Austria for the period January to June 2012, the federal provinces Upper Austria, Vienna and Lower Austria showed – in the order indicated – the highest external trade values in terms of trade-intensity (sum of imports and exports).
