The FIW - Research Centre International Economics (https://www.fiw.ac.at/) is a cooperation between the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), the University Vienna, the Johannes Kepler University Linz, the University of Innsbruck, WIFO, wiiw and WSR. Diskussionsveranstaltung "Wie viel Wirtschaft braucht die Wissenschaft?" – 24. Jänner 2012 – WkÖ
Die Wirtschaftskammer Österreich lädt ein zu einer Diskussionsveranstaltung „Wie viel Wirtschaft braucht die Wissenschaft?“. Diese wird am 24. Jänner 2012 in der Sky Lounge der WKO stattfinden. Der Fokus wird – neben tagespolitisch aktuellen Themen wie Studiengebühren und Zugangsregelungen – vor allem auf die Rolle der Berufsaus- und Weiterbildung auf Hochschulebene im Zusammenhang mit Fachkräftemangel gelegt. Call for Papers for the 5th FIW-Research Conference
FIW – the Austrian Research Centre International Economics invites the submission of papers to be presented at the 5th annual FIW Research Conference on International Economics. The main objective of the conference is to provide a platform for economists working in the field of International Economics in Austria and its neighbouring countries to present recent research. The submission deadline ends on February, 5th 2012. The conference takes place an April, 13th in Vienna. See the conference website for further details.
